I’m responsible for Business Development at AEP. This includes Economic Development, Strategic Marketing, National Accounts, Business Attraction and our Research and Operations team. I am a member of the International Economic Development Council, the Utility Economic Development Association and serve on the Advisory Council of CIBER program at the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University. I am on the boards of the Appalachian Partners for Economic Growth, the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, Ohio Statewide Development Corporation, and the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute.
I bring over three decades of economic development experience. My career includes nearly a decade as founder, president and chief executive officer of ED Solutions Inc., a consulting firm providing economic development tools, training and project management services. I have also served as the director of community development of Bethel Park, Pa., and regional planner for the Bel-O-Mar Regional Council in Wheeling, W.Va.
I have a bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental science from Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in economic geography from Oregon State University. I graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross Graduate School of Business Executive Management Program, and I am a certified economic developer (CEcD).
