I bring insight into community opportunities. As the former director of economic development for Pickerington, Ohio, I negotiated the city’s first job retention and creation grant with one of its largest employers. Before that, I served as an economic development specialist for Independence, Ohio, where I spearheaded the first business retention and expansion program, engaging nearly 1,000 businesses annually. Drawing from my experience as a district outreach representative for U.S. Congressman Steven C. LaTourette, I can help you navigate federal, state and regional requirements and connect you to my network of relationships built over years of service in the public sector.
I graduated from the University of Dayton and earned an MPA from Cleveland State University Levin College of Urban Affairs. I also graduated from the Jo Ann Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute. I am a certified economic developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council and hold an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certification from the National Development Council.
I’m an active volunteer and have served on the boards of local chambers of commerce as well as a wide variety of community organizations. Currently, I serve on the board of Hilliard Development Corporation.
