Over the last five years, AEPED has partnered with many of our local communities to identify sites with strong potential throughout our 11-state service territory and invest in preparing them for development. The resulting 50 sites have been reviewed, qualified or certified by best-in-class site selection and engineering consultants, and provide due diligence, minimized risk and improved speed to market for the end user. With a range of site locations, sizes, and characteristics, expanding businesses across a wide range of industries can leverage these development-ready sites for future projects.
- 15 Industrial Sites certified by McCallum Sweeney Consulting – A range of industrial sites and parks that exceed stringent requirements and have due diligence like environmental assessments and geo-technical studies completed, including the 1,100+ acre Inola River/Rail Industrial Park, located east of Tulsa on the navigable Verdigris River.
- 6 Data Center Sites qualified by Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Co – Sites that offer highly reliable and redundant power, strong fiber infrastructure, competitive cost structures, and locations insulated from man-made and natural risks, including Ignition Park in South Bend, Indiana.
- 8 Food Processing Sites certified by Austin Consulting – Sites that meet or exceed the requirements for food processing, including transportation, infrastructure and utility requirements, including the 50+ acre Gateway Commerce Park in Lima, Ohio.
- 21 Industrial Sites reviewed by Burgess and Niple – Sites thoroughly reviewed for strong industrial potential including analyzing acreage, zoning, utilities, access, environmental impacts, transportation and site improvements, including the 1,370 acre Apple Grove Site, located on the Ohio River in West Virginia.
